“The North Fork of Long Island has a new reason to cheer…
Wine Camp is here!”
Wine Camp has been featured in many publications and on several television and radio stations in the past few years. We wanted to share some of our favorite comments about Wine Camp to provide you with some insight into the wonderful experience that it is. Many of the reporters and commentators have attended Wine Camp personally.
The Wall Street Journal reviewed Camps for Grown-ups
(highlighting wine and learning experiences across the US and France)
Long Island's Wine Camp was at the top of the list!
"This camp covers the topics of vineyard work, the terroir of Long island, chemistry of winemaking, blending, and food & wine pairing. Campers visit eight wineries and vineyards, dine al fresco in the vineyards for lunches and eat dinners at the North Fork Table and Castello di Borghese Vineyard and Winery...your souvenir is a case of wine!"

The writers from the glossy upscale Sherman’s Travel Magazine…Smart Luxury recently joined us at camp. “Substitute blending sessions for sing-alongs and replace leaky tents with cozy B&Bs, and you’ve got Wine Camp—the latest pastime of the enologically obsessed.”
The writer compared the Wine Camp Experience in Long Island’s Wine Region, to opportunities in Napa Valley and Bordeaux, France…and Wine Camp was the leader with the highest value package and experience in total. “Wine Camp is less than $900 per person, compared to up to $2000 per person in California, or $2000+ in France.”
We agree this is the most professionally managed program around, and an extremely high value!
Coastal Living Magazine awarded Wine Camp one of the Top 10 Wine Vacations. “For roll-up-your sleeves fun, participants toil in the vineyards of Long Island’s renowned wine-producing North Fork”.
